Find your dog's size
Measure the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, with your dog standing. Then match it to the chest column below. Neck and back length are there to double-check the fit.

Between two sizes?
Choose the larger size and use the adjustable straps to snug it down. A vest that is slightly roomy is safer than one that is tight across the chest.
Deep-chested or front-heavy breeds
Go by the chest measurement, not the weight. Front-heavy dogs are exactly who the chin float was designed for.
